Teacher Overview

Most. Zakiya Islam is presently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She served as a Scientific Officer at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute. She obtained a CGPA of 4.00 out of 4.00 in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons.) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University for the first time and secured the first position under the faculty of agriculture. She completed her Master of Science in Agricultural Chemistry with the highest CGPA of 4.00 out of 4.00 from the same university. She received the UGC Merit Scholarship 2020. She awarded with most prestigious Deans Award, 2023 and 2019 for academic excellence during level 1, 2, 3 & 4 from SAU. She also received National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship from Ministry of Science and Technology. She again achieved Nagao Natural Environment Foundation (NEF) Scholarship, Japan for outstanding academic result. She is nominated Prime Minister Gold Medal (2019) for securing 1st position among the graduates from Faculty of Agriculture in undergraduate study.
